Why is it all of a sudden impossible to create a new report? It's been like this for months now.

If you submit a report (which I've done many time for various things like litter, traffic signals that are broken, etc), you get one of two results: 1) the report stays open forever and it seems to get forgotten 2) the report gets closed, and they give some pre-written response for why and then add some stock photo to the case. Sometimes the stock photos show people picking up trash on a street which is clearly a different street. Sometimes the photos are just logos. The problem with the closed cases (#2) is that whenever I check those locations for the fix, it's still broken. Has the litter been removed? Nope, still there. Has the traffic light been fixed? Nope, still broken. And yet they write these responses as though they've provided you this amazingly quick public service. I'd rather have the case stay open longer and the problem actually get fixed rather than you lie to me to make it seem like you're working double time. The concept is good. You just need people who actually care about the solutions to be in charge.

This app is a great idea to allow community members to send non-emergent notifications and suggestion to city leaders on how to improve our community except that the app does not work. I have not been able register a report. Thanks for nothing Boston.

Let me start by saying that I love, LOVE this app. I have used the Boston 311 app to report everything from illegal parking, to down trees, to potholes, to bent street signs. All repairs made very quickly, all responded within the app accurate. I love when there is a picture provided of a completed project. The app works well and rarely force quits or errors out (iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.3.2). Some things that could be added: 1. The ability to report minor issues to law enforcement (house parties, noise disturbances, the smoking of marijuana). 2. The ability to communicate with city officials within the app on a per report basis. Like a chat feature where you can respond on the quality of work done, whether the issue was truly resolved, if anything else has happened since, etc. 3. Add additional security protocols to protect your users. End to end encryption, Touch ID and password support to make sure your data can not be stolen or intercepted. Implement these three suggestions and it's a perfect five stars all day.

App is functional and effective. Has trouble locating correct address based on map but if you play with it enough you can usually get it to find the right address. Whoever came up with this new design must be color blind. Horrible choice of color - white and gray text on a yellow background? Totally unreadable. I really don't understand what designers are thinking anymore. They couldn't have made it any more difficult to read unless they used white font on a white background. Stop the insanity!

The latest update should be fixed so it does not update if the user is on IOS 6. It crashes.
