Our wines come from many of Australia's key wine regions and with countless awards from many wine shows. In 2011 alone, McWilliamÕs Wines was awarded 36 trophies and 877 medals at wine shows across Australia. It's because great wines are made by people, not by corporations. Our philosophy of ensuring quality comes first dates back to 1877 when first generation winemaker Samuel McWilliam planted his first vines on the outskirts of Corowa, NSW and is the driving force behind our success. Today, the sixth and and some of the seventh generation of the McWilliam family continue the legacy forged by Samuel McWilliam. Throughout the last century and well into this one, McWilliamÕs Wines has branched out into the regions, brands, varietals and styles that wine lovers seek, showcasing 138 years of innovation and exploration. This includes our other premier brands, Mount Pleasant from the Hunter Valley and Evans &Tate from Margaret River.
