HOW TO’S

To use the New Relic iOS app you must log in with your existing New Relic credentials. All New Relic accounts associated with this user will automatically appear inside the app.

Set-up push notifications for Alerts customers
* You can choose your push notification settings individually for each application
* Log in into your New Relic account from a web browser
* Click on Alerts
* Click on Notification channels
* Make sure your USER is added as a notification channel
* Then choose Alert policy you wish to be added to
* Add your USER to that notification channel for the policy

Adding New Users
* Tap on your Account name
* Tap on ‘ADD USER’ on the bottom
* You will be taken back to the login screen
* Log in like you normally would with a new email

No view available for third party tools

Dear Devs, app is good and only useful when you need to monitor APM but how am I suppose to monitor my k8s cluster. There is no option for third party tools inside the infrastructure. Please add this feature also.

Bad navigation

The navigation in this app is wrong and makes me do the wrong thing every time. Tab bars are supposed to be the top level element, you don’t back out of them. Please read the platform guidelines and fix.

Edited: App alerts are broken if you have a v2 account. This makes the app far less useful . Ugh.

Still missing key functionality

New Relic has an impressive array of information on your server apps, but sadly the iPad app still doesn't let you access some key bits even after the latest update. I’m glad they’ve at least had a go at updating the app to let you access more, but it’s disappointing that dashboards still don’t show the same as on desktop (hint developers, widgets can have multiple queries particularly important for different time zones, so showing the first doesn’t cut it). I also find the UI isn’t quite as sexy as the web app or the old insights app, but hopefully this will improve.

Incredible app. Ignore the poor reviews, great functionality and very snappy.

Very well laid out, great UI/UX, matches a similar feel to NewRelic in a web browser. Will be really helpful for my team to monitor our servers performance throughout the day. Nice to have the ApDex score sitting next to me while I work. Would be really cool to have an ApDex widget for iOS14! Also, maybe a widget view of my favourite synthetics monitors. Would be incredibly powerful for glance views.

Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
MobileCoreServices
Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.
Quartz Core Framework
Allow users to browse, edit, and save images, using slideshows and Core Image filters.The Quartz Composer API supports processing and rendering graphical data and allows developers to create custom patches for the Quartz Composer developer tool.
