Always deal with facts not emotions. If you compare what the 'OVO APP' says with the 'OVO WEBSITE' you will see the two disagree and even contradict each other. I repeatedly reported misinformation, wildly inaccurate estimates and other misleading information the OVO app provides to OVO Energy but it fell on deaf ears. OVO Energy is aware of the problem but instead choose to pretend there is no problem and just waste customers time letting you use a knowingly faulty app. What is the problem? The 'app' is designed 'off site' by a 3rd party not by an in house 'OVO IT team' and OVO don't want to admit they are having problems. There website has issues too but is far more reliable and more accurate but still not correct. This statement is made with smart metres providing hourly updates and still the information the app provides is misleading and wrong. * READ CAREFULLY THE OTHER REVIEWS *

This company is nothing but a total Rip Off Having swapped 8 months ago because I was told I would save about 25% my usage they are telling me will be about 30% MORE than with the previous supplier Even though they insist you submit readings they just told me they base everything on estimated readings They are really one big Rip Off supplier and I urge anyone thinking of moving to them to look elsewhere

I would make sure you check the standing charge these people take from you. I've only been with Ovo for 2 months, every single day I check my app to see my usage, only to see I've been charged double on a daily standing charge!! When I rang them I was told it was a "glitch" in their system and two days daily charge was taken instead of one. I was also told because this happened they wouldn't take any charge the day after. I checked again the day after only to find there is no day showing at all!! So, a glitch in the system means they took a double payment from everyone! What about the people who won't have checked - they're being robbed!! Ovo and its app may have started off well, but now have turned into yet another company robbing their customers blind! I wasn't even offered a refund or an apology. Only that it would be rectified the day after and its not!! They control the meters, a refund into my account could of been easily done. I'd say beware of this company and watch out this, I'll be changing company now as well as going to ofgem and the ombudsman. I won't stay with an energy company who robs their customers this way. It's disgusting!!!

I've got smart meters and i get daily updates of usage that I can see in the app. It lets me edit the direct debit in a way that other energy providers wouldn't let you do, so it allows me not to over pay, unlike the rest. I think it's really handy. Before smart meters, it allowed me to submit meter readings and a really handy feature was that it included a torch switch so you could turn it on in the app.

This is the best provider I have been with. The app is good so you can see and monitor usage. It helps me to conserve energy as I can see month on month what I have used. Makes me think! Perhaps a development would be to look at year on year. The customer service is also good. Keep it up. Thanks

This app daily usage does not work and live usage also not working, OVO technicians have tried to get both to work but technicians have not enough experience to rectify this problem.
