Description:

Pixie is the ultimate Finder of all the physical things that matter to you the most. The Pixie Points and App, powered by the patented Pixie Technology, give everyday things a digital identity to make them instantly discoverable. Just add your Pixie Points to anything you want to locate, track down and find like your keys, wallet, luggage, laptop charger, headphones - to make them Pixiefied. Once Pixified you can locate them and if in range easily find them. Stop looking for misplaced or lost items, get Peace of Find with Pixie!

You can order the Pixie Points at www.getpixie.com

Why is Pixie the Ultimate Finder?

Most finders use only Bluetooth(R) technology. Bluetooth alone give you only proximity - not precise location. Bluetooth can tell you that an item is somewhere in range but does not tell you where it actually is. Pixie does! Pixie Patented Technology triangulates the location of your Pixified item and pinpoints you to where it is.... down to the inch! No guesswork - just Peace of Find.

How is the Pixie App unique?

If you lose an item, Pixie will guide you to its location in three simple steps:
Step 1. Map it
If your lost item is far away, Pixie provides its last known GPS location to help jog your memory where you last saw it. When you’re within range, Pixie asks you to take a panoramic scan of your surroundings to help you get a little closer.
Step 2: Show it
When Pixie finds your item, a Pixie Pointer arrow shows both the direction and distance to the item. If it’s hiding under a pillow or behind a wall, use your camera and see what Pixie sees. The Pixie dust will guide you.
Step 3: Grab it
When you’re within 5 feet of your lost item, the Pixie app acts like a metal detector to accurately zero in on it. A series of beeps, similar to a metal detector, takes you right to it.
With Pixie, lost items are simply found.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
• Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy (Bluetooth Smart)
• Range: Pixified objects can be located up to “150 feet” in line of sight. Everyone’s home is different, but a range of 30′-50′ indoors is typical. Solid metal walls and obstacles will limit the range.
• Battery: After 12 months of typical use, the battery life of your Pixie end. At that point, just peel off your old Pixie and replace it with another. Pair the new Pixie with your App, and you are good to go.
• Waterproof with IP67 certification.

COMPATIBLE DEVICES
• Apple iOS Devices Using iOS 9 or later: iPhone 5S & SE, iPhone 6 & 6+, iPhone 6s & 6s+, iPhone 7 & 7+, iPhone 8

Pixie the ultimate finder

This is got to be the worst product I have ever used. It's sent me in the exact opposite direction of my lost item. I've logged out re/logged In, tried all three pixies and not one of them worked. Don't waste your money.

Are you kidding?

I echo all the negative reviews here. It's been almost a year and a half since I put into Kickstarter and they just sent it to me because I emailed them and asked what was up. Now I learn I have to attach one of the set to my iPhone?!! Are you kidding?! Deal breaker!! No way I'm gonna glue something to my iPhone. This company is less than forthright and I predict will go down. I consider my investment a total loss.

Get Tile instead

Where to start? I thought this was the size of a guitar pick. It's huge. It'll make you stick one to the back of the phone, which is stupid. Then, it'll break super easy. I had one in my wallet that cracked in the first week. To top off, battery started getting low 4 months in. I wish you guys well, but version 1.0 was garbage, and I'm not gonna try version 2.0.

Amost dead after a few months!

Backed Pixie (one set of 4) and got them after nearly a one year wait. Never did any of the advertisement for it state that you have to "waste" one of your Pixies by applying it to the back of your phone, so I feel misled on that count. Now after finally receiving my set of 4 Pixies in January (only about 4 months ago), the "Phone Point" (the one affixed to the phone) is down to 5% battery and the other 3 are in the low 20% range. I'll have to replace the phone point with the unit I use on my luggage tag and "waste" yet another Pixie to become the new "Phone Point". Then I'll only be able to track my two keychains from a set of 4 Pixies. Even after that, I bet I only get another month or two at most out of those before they all give up the ghost. These are either defective or the worst design ever. So much potential with poor implementation. I even applied to beta test them but was not selected. If they had let me test them, they would have received this feedback then and could have improved the product before disappointing everyone who bought in. Worse yet, I paid a little less than half what they're going for now. They were a waste of money at 40 clams-no way I'd pay 70 now!

Almost worthless

I bought 8 of these months before they were released. I was so excited. Then I got them and found out you need one attached to your phone. I get why, but what a failure. They never advertised it that way. I've had these points for 3 months and they are ALL below 50% battery life. 4 of them have literally never been used. Huge waste of money. I was even asked to be part of a special team providing feedback. It's so bad that I can't bring myself to directly bash them. It's embarrassing that they spent so long developing something that is so terrible.
