Our goal is to assist providers in meeting the evolving requirements of health care consumers and policy makers. This core philosophy stems from the passion of our founder and CEO, Dr. Andrew Kramer. He believed the potential of the new Quality Indicator Survey (QIS) process would only be realized if providers were empowered with the same quality metrics and tools as surveyors. In response, he and his brother Peter started Providigm in December 2006 to provide a way for nursing homes to understand and achieve success under QIS. The result was the abaqis Quality Management System that replicates the entire QIS methodology.
