RapidFire Tools Inc. was founded in 2010. The company develops and sells innovative and powerful, award-winning IT software tools with clear value propositions that help IT service providers and MSPs uncover new business, expand their practice areas, and run their operations more successfully.
Network Detective, the company's flagship product, is the leading non-intrusive IT assessment tool, used by thousands of service providers around the world. Network Detective acquires vast amounts of network data about computers, devices, users, applications and configurations without the need to install probes, or agents. Once the scans are complete, Network Detective's proprietary data analyzer identifies and ranks issues based on impact to the network. The software includes dozens of reports for a variety IT disciplines including network, security, MS Exchange, SQL Server, HIPAA, PCI and other compliance areas.

Description:
The Mobile Security Analyzer (MSA) scans your Android device for asset and security issues. It is used in conjunction with the Network Detective from RapidFire Tools (www.rapidfiretools.com). The app is free but requires a valid Provider ID to perform the scan.
You should have been given the Provider ID by your service provider or IT department.
The scan is a non-invasive scan and does not write any information to your phone. It also does not gather private information, such as contact data or email.
A report is presented after the scan showing potential issues and security risks. Some risks are acceptable as some apps require potentially dangerous permission to perform their operation. You should always try to minimize the use of apps that require potentially harmful permissions. Only use apps from known sources. Uninstall unrecognized apps or apps requiring permissions that are not needed for their primary function.
