Welcome to the new SFJAZZ Center!

The award-winning SFJAZZ Center opened on January 21, 2013 in San Francisco’s vibrant Hayes Valley and has already been recognized as one of the best new performing arts centers in the country. The SFJAZZ Center is the first stand-alone structure in the country built specifically for jazz. Its intimate concert hall, the Robert N. Miner Auditorium, was acoustically and visually designed to enhance the creation of spontaneous music and the connection between artists and audiences.

Season 2 begins on August 26th, 2013 and features a stunning lineup of artists including Wayne Shorter, Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, Bill Cosby, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding, Geri Allen, Bill Frisell, Branford Marsalis, Hugh Masekela, Joe Lovano, David Sanborn and more. SFJAZZ's programming also includes the San Francisco Jazz Festival, SFJAZZ Summer Sessions, monthly Hotplate Series and a wealth of education programs.
