Great Customer Service

We were familiar with another popular mobile card reader, but switched for better rates. I was uncertain about how the transition would go, but customer service has been spectacular every time I've needed technical support. A few of the things in the app are a bit wanly - for example, the "forgot password" icon is located exactly where the "log in" icon should be. Instead, the "log in" icon is hidden behind the keyboard pop up that is required for entering your user name and password. Once I was familiar, I knew to take the extra step to close the keyboard to reveal the right icon, but it was a pain and still causes an extra step. Unlike the other reader, this reader requires user password every time you open the app, and it times out without warning and isn't clear with its error messages. If it times out, you have to close out the app, re-launch, re-enter your user name and password, then re-enter the transaction and re-swipe the card. Again, once I figured it out, I knew to relaunch periodically throughout my sales day to avoid embarrassing interruption. It felt awkward and clumsy fumbling with it in front of my customers. The other disadvantage is that this reader does not send receipts via text message, and when sending by email, there's a character limit, so clients with long email addresses aren't able to receive their receipts by email. These are tiny issues - largely just user-friendly adjustments, but E.J. took his time with me by phone to walk step by step through each part of the processes so that I could learn the system in private and use it with confidence in front of my clients. I was afraid to make the jump, but PayHub has been great for us in the long run. I have confidence that in time, the developers will make many updates so the app is more user friendly.

Great product!! Easy to use!

I like the way it shows you your current batch and view yesterday's batch as well. You can even view the past 30 days worth of transactions. Love the way it populates customer information. I had issues with validation, didn't know once you leave the validation screen, it invalidates the current code. So, that kinda confused me a bit. And it's weird I could highlight only a portion of the receipt, but I don't care too much for that. Overall, great app. (> ' . ')> <(' . ' )>
