Description:
An e-magazine designed by students enrolled in two interdisciplinary, collaborative, interactive design courses: a design course taught by Deb Hall, and a computer science course taught by Mike Eckmann at Skidmore College. The topic was creativity in the local community, including artist profiles, processes and techniques. All students were required to produce original video and audio. Each article was created by a pair of students, one from each discipline using Adobe's DPS and standard web languages. Isaac Chansky '13, designed the navigation interface and assisted in publication.
Creativity Matters was inspired by Skidmore's view that "Creative Thought Matters." Skidmore College is a liberal arts college located in Saratoga Springs, New York. This was only one of many projects completed in the course.
This was funded by a Student Opportunity Grant at Skidmore College.
