Make it simple stupid!

I just wanted a simple alert for a deal on an upright vacuum cleaner. This app sent me alerts for everything under the sun except a vacuum cleaner!!! I will try an app that is more to the point and less fussy. 😫

For some reason on iPhone iOS 14.6 I can no longer share SD’s deals on Facebook. Galesburg is not an option on the share sheet.

Permanent Banned

Rarely used this app, but I decided to come back to it recently and I was permanently banned after posting my first deal and upvoting and downvoting some deals. I was falsely accused of “making an alternate account and targeting people” which I did not do. This app is a joke, I suggest other deal apps like Wikibuy or Honey.

Inconsistent Policy

We use slickdeals mainly to look for great deals and rarely share great deals on the platform until today. A great deal was posted on Amazon 3rd party seller with 473 ratings & 87 global reviews (4.4 out of 5 stars). Slickdeals moderator replied as “you have been warned for one of your posts, which violated Slickdeals.net Rules. Slickdeals policy requires Amazon 3rd-party sold products to have 50 reviews and the seller must have at least 1000 ratings.” The negative tone of the message (you have been warned) and the 1000 ratings for 3rd party seller will discourage many Slickdeals users from bother to post great deals on the platform. Many frontpage deals are currently showing on the platform with less than 1000 ratings for 3rd party seller - inconsistent policy.
