The Smart Start app is a resource for consumers interested in alcohol monitoring through one of the leaders in the industry. It provides product information, a location finder and makes it easy to schedule an installation. Product information is in both English and Spanish and includes FAQ’s and video training on the device and how to test. For convenience, a location finder identifies which of over 900 US locations are nearest to your zip code. For safety’s sake, a BAC calculator is available to tell you when you have had one too many and should not get behind the wheel.

“The Blood Alcochol Concentration (BAC) calculator included provides only a rough estimate of your BAC level. Individuals alcohol tolerance will vary. The BAC value depends on several factors, including your physical, psychological, health condition, medications, and what you've recently ingested. The BAC estimatation generated should not be used to infer anyone's fitness to work, drive or perform any other task or duty and therefore should be used for informational purpose only.”

SHAM

These are the same guys who make the BAC ignition interlock for cars that will land your butt in jail. These guys must be pros, right. Use their BAC calculator. Have, say four drinks, and you're still legal! They can't even do the math? Not to worry though. There's a button to order and install one of their interlocks if you're dumb enough to trust them! Drumming up business?

Hours of operation

App is nice for finding shops near you. But what would be super beneficial is if the days and hours of operation were listed for the locations

Shuts down

It closes down every time I hit submit. And the main reason I got it was to hopefully figure out what to do about the time change (daylight savings) on my device! No use there either.

Just downloaded the app. Put in my information and it kept closing. Tried three different times. Deleted it.

Doesn't even work!

I've downloaded and redownloaded this app and can't get the BAC calculator to work. Just shuts app off when I submit info! 👎
