Student Veterans of America (SVA) nationally represents a coalition of over 1450 student veteran groups from college campuses across the United States and in four countries. Over 1.1 million student veterans and nearly 200,000 family members use GI Bill benefits right now in higher education!
SVA is a Veteran Success Organization, and works on behalf of student veterans at the local, state, and national level, holds training and education events, awards scholarships, makes chapter grants, awards funds for veteran centers, and more. SVA is expert in higher education policy, and advises and educates others related to higher education and veterans. SVA provides tools and resources for informed decision making, and to enhance and accelerate higher education success, including with partners and collaborators in business and industry, higher education, government, and other non-profit and veteran organizations.
Founded in January of 2008, SVA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization focuses on transitioning service members and veterans to get to, through, and beyond higher education.

The official app for Student Veterans of America's National Conference (NatCon2020). This is the largest annual gathering of student veterans, advocates, thought leaders, stakeholders, and supporters in higher education in the world. Student veterans, higher education professionals, alumni, and advocates will have the opportunity to learn from more than 2,000 of their peers on January 3 – 5, 2020.
Attendees can build their own unique experience by selecting breakout sessions to attend based off 5 different tracks. Tracks include: Career Readiness, Chapter Management, Higher Education, Student Success, and SVA.
