TRSA, Association for Linen, Uniform and Facility Services Industry is a not-for-profit trade association. Its business mission is to protect, promote and professionalize the industry of its members. Members are for-profit companies engaged in textile maintenance and rental services to commercial, industrial and institutional accounts. Associate members are for-profit companies that sell services, equipment and supplies to members. Members of TRSA account for about 90% of the annual sales of the textile services industry. In 2008, the combined textile services industry had estimated sales of roughly $14 billion. Linen supply and industrial laundering companies employ more than 140,000 people in 1,500 facilities. TRSA members provide hygienically clean textile items to millions of customers in commerce, industry and other professions. Major customers of most uniform and linen supply services and commercial launderers include: automobile service and repair facilities; hotels; restaurants; hospitals; nursing homes; doctorsÍ and dentistsÍ offices; retail stores and supermarkets, and a variety of other industrial and service companies. TRSA serves both U.S. and international members. One of TRSAÍs goals is to promote information exchange between textile service companies in the United States and around the world.
