Multiple, repeating advertisements in every issue...

And still the repetitive, intrusive ads keep coming. I intend to cancel my subscription if this goes on.

Good app but very annoying advert at start

It seems to work well for me except for the full page advert that springs up when you download a new issue. Sometimes it takes several determined swipes to get it to go away. Having already paid quite a large sum for the mag I don't think readers should have to put up with this. The economist itself though is absolutely excellent.

Great, bar the intrusive ads

A full digital & paper sub costs a lot! The quality & variety are excellent. Unfortunately the intrusive ads have been re-introduced. You get more, and more intrusive ads than the paper version, despite the price being similar, and the distribution costs markedly less.

Missing audio control and navigation icons?

The new version of The Economist app is missing audio control (e.g. play, stop and pause) icons and navigation (e.g. back to menu of sections) options. I'm unsure if this is an intentional design or an issue with the app on my iPad. If the former, it's inconvenient and clumsy!

Busted

Latest "update" doesn't allow you to download the new issue. Are software people incapable of doing anything right? Will I get a rebate for the inconvenience.....I think not.

Intrusive Advertising

I really wanted to like this app, but its ruined by advertising that can't be escaped from without hitting the home button and killing the app and starting over.
