GoTaxi-Driver is Myanmar’s free transportation app for drivers that offer the passengers the fastest booking service for taxis, private cars or motorbikes. This driver app will be used with GoTaxi-Myanmar app.

Accept the immediate booking as a nearby taxi, car or motorbike driver, get up-to-the minute ETA and pick up the passenger in minutes or accept pre-booking for a later time. Be in contact with your passenger directly through the app and notify the passenger when taxi arrives at location. Then rate the passenger when you’re done to make your next drive even safe and better! 


Safety feature: A driver can register their number with contact details of two family members/ friends/colleagues, and in case of emergency, when the driver presses the 'Emergency’ icon' in the app, it will send an SMS with location to the registered phone. Track me option will also allow the driver’s family or friends with their permission to monitor throughout their route. This feature is included as per many requests from passengers and drivers in Myanmar. The feature is very different from other safety applications.

Battery Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Accounts Framework
The Accounts framework provides access to user accounts stored in the Accounts database. An account stores the login credentials of a particular service, such as Twitter, that can be used as authentication for the service. By implementing the Accounts framework into your app, you do not need to be responsible for storing account logins yourself. Instead, the user can grant access for your app to use their account login credentials, bypassing the need to type their username and password. If no account for a particular service exists in the user’s Accounts database, you can let them create and save an account from within your app.
Address Book
The Address Book framework provides access to a centralized contacts database, called the Address Book database, that stores a user’s contacts. Applications such as Mail and Messages use this database to present information about known and unknown persons.

You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
