Practice profiles allow University of Brighton Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic students to view the profile for each period of practice placement.
In order to maximize learning in the clinical setting, students need to prepare by familiarizing themselves with the type of clinical placement, what learning experiences can be expected and what learning can be achieved. Further, each profile provides information about who to contact at the placement, the shift patterns, any special requirements, such as whether you need to wear your uniform and any suggested reading. Practice profiles also provide a map showing the location of the placement and gives directions to each placement.
