Venture For America
Venture for America is a two-year fellowship program for recent college grads who want to work at a startup and create jobs in American cities. Fellows learn important startup skills at our five-week Training Camp, apply for jobs within our vetted company network, and work for two years as full-time, salaried employees in one of 18 cities. When Fellows are ready to start a company„be it two years after college or ten„VFA has the resources (like a crowdfunding competition, accelerator, and seed fund) to help make that dream a reality. The VFA (Venture for America) App is to be used by students who have an interest in joining the Venture for America Network. They can easily register by clicking on the "VFA Application" link. The app also offers a link to navigate to the office of Venture for America, a call link, as well as an email button. The app also allows students to order the book Smart People Should Build Things and read the RSS feed of the Venture for America blog. Finally, companies can interact with VFA if they have an interest in offering opportunities for students. VFA itself can send push notifications via the app to all members of the network.

The Problem

Enterprising college graduates crave hands-on business experience to learn how to start a business and create value. At the same time, many promising early-stage businesses struggle to identify, recruit, and enlist talented college graduates, in large part because they lack the resources, brand equity and scale to engage in on-campus recruiting.

Assets Library Framework
In iOS and OS X, the Photos framework (formerly known as Assets Library framework) provides classes that support building photo editing extensions for the Photos app. In iOS, the Photos framework also provides direct access to the photo and video assets managed by the Photos app, including the iCloud Photo Library. Use this framework to retrieve assets for display and playback, edit their image or video content, or work with collections of assets such as albums, moments, and iCloud Shared Albums.
AudioToolbox
The Audio Toolbox framework provides interfaces for recording, playback, and stream parsing. In iOS, the framework provides additional interfaces for managing audio sessions.

Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Graphics

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
