Visit Phoenix is the official destination marketing and sales organization for Greater Phoenix. An accredited member of the Destination Marketing Association International, Visit Phoenix is charged with marketing Phoenix nationally and internationally as a premier business and leisure destination.
Greater Phoenix has more than 62,000 guest rooms with 3,000 rooms that are within walking distance of the 900,000 square foot Phoenix Convention Center. Many hotels and resorts offer state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities, as well as golf, spas, and fine dining.
With nearly perfect weather year-round, Greater Phoenix has always been known as a premier resort & meeting destination. However, Downtown Phoenix continues to evolve into a top convention and meeting facilities area with the addition of the METRO light rail, expanded ASU Campus, sports and entertainment district, museums and performing arts centers and new hotels and restaurants.
Greater Phoenix hosted the Super Bowl XLIX in 2015, the 2016 College Football Playoff Championship Game and the 2017 NCAA MenÍs Final Four.
