Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) is the operator of award-winning attractions Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, River Safari and Singapore Zoo. Adding to WRSÍ existing offerings, exciting plans are underway to rejuvenate the Mandai nature precinct to create an integrated nature and wildlife destination. This will involve the integration of the current parks at Mandai with upcoming attractions _ including a new Bird Park (relocated from Jurong), a Rainforest Park, a nature-themed indoor attraction, eco-accommodation options and green public spaces. The Mandai nature precinct will have a strong focus on promoting wildlife conservation and education, bringing the joys of nature closer to Singaporeans and international visitors alike.
In the areas of conservation and research, WRS parks have undertaken multiple projects, which focus on species such as the oriental pied hornbill, pangolin and orang utan, through collaborations with various organisations and institutions. Recent conservation efforts include hosting a regional Asian pangolin conservation workshop. All WRS parks are designated wildlife rescue centres by the governing authority.
WRS office is located at 80 Mandai Lake Road Singapore 729826. More information can be found at www.wrs.com.sg
