Probably two and a half stars

The 2014 version is actually better then the 2015 version because the interface during matches is better. That being said, the game is Grindy, forces you to pay to unlock anything past the first chapter, and the last boss is this side of impossible to beat. Even if you paid money for more cards, unless the computer gets unlucky the game pretty much stops at that guy. It's all about playing sealed deck/limited equivalent deck, and running up against the opponent having 5/3 flying hexproof juggernaut every time. You just cook!

GREAT GAME BUT NO MULTIPLAYER? SERIOUSLY?

I am giving this game one star for the simple fact that there is no working multiplayer option. The gameplay is solid, the various deck building options are nice, and the different AI playing formats are fun overall. But all that said, The "network" and "ad-hoc" multiplayer options do not work at all. If you don't provide working multiplayer options on MTG you lose my rating and recommendation, It's that big of a deal. Nobody wants to play against the computer only forever, that is whack. Also, adding the ability to make a master deck to play in all formats would improve this game.

Needs Bug Spray

I experience a bug on my ipad mini 2 when I connect to the store. It disconnects me from the server, then reduces my gold balance to 0 so I cant purchase any cards. When I reconnect my gold level is brought back to its correct amount only to repeat the process again. Fun but without the option to get more cards I need to delete this game.
