World of Beer¬ is a neighborhood, non-smoking, upscale social establishment dedicated to the enjoyment of beer and education of the beer enthusiast. More than a bar, the World of Beer¬ offers over 500 different bottled beers from around the world and an ever-changing rotation of draft beers from dedicated taps. The World of Beer¬ caters to a broad spectrum of patrons, including local professionals and neighborhood residents, fans of beer and discerning beer aficionados. The original location, in the suburban-Tampa neighborhood of Westchase, opened in 2007 and welcomes over 89,000 patron visits per year. In addition to serving an enormous selection of beer, World of Beer¬ hosts local bands to play on the loft stage, holds patron appreciation events and hosts community events. After the success of the Westchase location, the founders of World of Beer¬ decided to franchise the concept and bring the breadth of beer offerings and good times to other neighborhoods throughout the United States. World of Beer Franchising, Inc. is the franchise development and management arm of the World of Beer concept.

No tasting notes

The app is getting better but just barely. As an extreme user ( almost 6,000 beers ) I use tasting notes to help me remember what that beer tastes like to me and also to let me know if I had had it before by adding 12oz, draft, etc at the end of my notes. I can no longer do this because it crashes. Now I have to rely on memory because we know the app sometimes doesn't get it right. Update - The tasting notes are fixed, thanks 😃😃😃 Still need to fix the issue of beers that show are available that I have already had.

I love WOB. I hate this app.

First, it won't let me register my loyalty number. It keeps telling me that my number is invalid. On my iPad the text overlaps when displayed and won't rotate to portrait view. Generally a poorly designed app. I'm going to go drink a beer...

Update really a band aid

This update did not fix the location services issue, it only defaulted the location services to off it seems. As mentioned tasting notes now causes crash. I think most discouraging though was the lack of new features supporting loyalty program

Update glitch

Downloaded the latest version. It now lists prices (which I was better off not knowing) but you can no longer add tasting notes. App locks up and crashes every time. Really annoying since I add notes every time I try a new beer.

Launch Services
