World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome extreme poverty and injustice. History: In 1950 Dr Bob Pierce, an American serviceman during the Korean War, founded World Vision to provide emergency care for war orphans in Korea.
