Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) is a 50:50 joint venture of Air India Limited (National Carrier of India) and SATS Limited (Leading provider of gateway services and food solutions in Singapore and the region) formed at the Indian Government's initiative, with the vision to provide world-class airport services in ground and cargo handling that exceed customersÕ expectations, so as to attract more airlines to fly into India.
Since the start of its operations in 2008, AISATS has been providing seamless, hassle-free and comprehensive handling services to its customer airlines at international airports in Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mangalore and Trivandrum.
Currently employing over 11,600 staff, AISATS offers end-to-end airport handling services such as passenger handling, baggage handling, ramp handling, aircraft interior cleaning, load control, flight operations administration and cargo handling services.
AISATS has developed India's 1st on-airport perishable cargo handling center at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. In the past year, AISATSÕ Cargo Airfreight Terminal in Bengaluru won the ÒAir Cargo Terminal OperatorÓ for the 6th year running from the Indian Chamber of Commerce. AISATSÕ customers also won various Òbest performingÓ station awards from their respective HQs as well. AISATS is ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) and ISO 9001:2008 certified.
