This last box has done it for me. Not only did I not get to pick anything but the items they picked have no relation to my profile. I don’t need a self tanner. I do not need shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair as I’m not blonde and the eyebrow color they sent is dark. I am light skinned and my brows are light brown. Not dark brown. 2 more months because you can’t cancel. That’s fine. I’ll be sure to spread the word about your lack of customer service.

Both Ipsy and BoxyCharm send much better products in their bags/boxes. I am disappointed with Birchbox and feel like they include 5 items that should be <$1.00 each. Definitely not the same quality products as their competitors.

These products are no named odd ball products. Fun to open and try, and be surprised! However it is definitely not something I would renew, I’d rather get surprised with products I will use again. Not pitch.

I am a single mom of 2 so I don’t get to buy myself expensive make up or skincare too often. This box allows me to try a variety of different products without having to waste money on something and not like it and waste time and money. I am VERY into skincare, I always have been but now that I am 32 I really like to try different products. Birchbox send a lot of different skincare products which I love! I have even bought 2 products that I got as samples! The ipkn tinted moisturizer (I think that’s the name) and I also just bought Dr. botanicals pomegranate superfood regenerating sleep mask. I got this mask in my last box and after one use I fell in love! I have rosacea on my cheeks and after using this once and washing my face the next morning my face looked so nice. So refreshed and the redness on my cheeks had really improved. I used it the next night and even better. Well, my son has autism and loves lotions and creams and he got into my bathroom and squeezed about half the bottle out. I just added on to my next box and it was only $10. Plus when you add a product onto your box it’s free shipping. I used to get Ipsy which I absolutely love but if you wanted to buy something you did not get this option. I was going to rate 4 stars because I think I like Ipsy better (I haven’t been getting Ipsy for a while, I’m about to sign up for it again) I like that you get a makeup bag every month. Honestly it is very close for me between the two. I subscribed for a year of Birchbox and it will end in August, I will most likely resubscribe. I was getting boxy charm as a gift, I got about 6 boxes, I liked it but I personally wouldn’t pay $25 a month plus I felt like I got a lot of full size products I’ll never use. I’d rather get the samples for $12 a month and do 2 subscriptions.

I gave 3 stars only due to the fact that when I signed up I didn’t realize that I was actually stuck In a long term 12 month commitment unable to skip months or cancel if needed for any emergency much less during times of uncertainty with the pandemic and never knowing if everything might shut down and have people without jobs again ...I should have read better, lesson learned😩 Will say...I love that the delivery is always right on time... shipping department is absolutely 👏🏻ON 👏🏻IT! I love that I received 2 extra boxes from signing up and especially the amazing clear box and packaging is always great. Oh and THE STASHER BAG!! I’m also have a Monthly subscription to Grove collaborative...We have been the past 3 years slowly but surely getting natural products and cleaners, more reusable bags and STASHERS, paper products...So must say the stasher bag for April was genius and 5 star rating! IF YOU SWITCH TO A STASHER BAG EVERY MONTH OMMMMG I WOULD NOT HAVE ONE SINGLE COMPLAINT DUE TO KNOWING THAT BAG PLUS PRODUCTS PLYS SHIPPING ITSELF IS WORTH MORE THAN THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE! I would sign up all my family and friends 😂 Only other complaint was a few products that I received had barely any product inside, they were small products which honestly it’s hard to decide whether one time use is good enough to pay full price in the future. I wish Birchbox did more DELUXE SAMPLES AND MAKEUP PRODUCTS. I’m not that big into putting random moisturizer serums etc products on my face due to having sensitive skin and fear of breaking out so most of my products usually get tossed or given to friends.
