Established in 1992 to support the sales and marketing of BMW products, BMW Group Financial Services NA, LLC has expanded beyond the leasing, retail and commercial financing of a traditional captive-finance company to offer a broad variety of products tailored for the BMW customer as well as the MINI and Rolls-Royce customer.
These products, to enhance the BMW and MINI ownership experience, range from unique iPhone and smartphone mobile apps to ones which protect owners against the hazards and normal wear-and-tear of ordinary driving.
The Group also provides financing to BMW dealers for expanding dealership capabilities and enhancing overall operations. With more than $34 billion in serviced assets and 1,000,000 automotive lending customers across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil, BMW Group Financial Services finances almost three-quarters of the BMWs sold or leased in North America. BMW Group Financial Services employs more than 600 people, most of whom are located in the Hilliard, Ohio Regional Service Center.
Alphera Financial Services was established in 2006 to provide financial services to dealers who are not part of the BMW and MINI networks, while up2drive.com, a direct lender, is a division of BMW Bank of North America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BMW Financial Services NA, LLC. The Bank also issues unique BMW and MINI credit cards.
BMW Insurance Agency, Inc., a property and casualty producer, is also part of BMW Group Financial Services.

The Digital Key is stored in Apple Wallet and will enable you to lock and unlock your car by holding iPhone up to the door handle and start it up by placing iPhone in the smartphone tray (If your vehicle is compatible with BMW Digital Key it will be shown on the vehicle tab)

Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life. If you experience significant battery drain while using BMW Connected, select the lower battery usage option in the Settings menu.
