Centaur Theatre Company is Montreal's flagship English-language theatre company. Founded in 1969, Centaur welcomes over 50,000 audience members annually into our Old Montreal home, the former location of CanadaÍs first Stock Exchange. Recipient of eight Montreal English Theatre Awards (METAs) in 2016 and 2017, including Outstanding Production (The Adventures of a Black Girl in Search of God). Recipient of the international 50/50 Applause Award for producing the work of women playwrights for at least 50% of the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons.
