App Features to enhance your mobile life include:

1. Automatic and On-Demand time sync - As your iPhone updates with the change of timezones, your paired Citizen Eco Drive Proximity will update automatically within 5 seconds. You can also update the time on your Citizen Eco Drive Proximity through "on-demand" syncing.

2. Discrete notification - When your Citizen Eco Drive Proximity is paired with your iPhone, you are notified of emails, calls and/or schedule events through visual and vibration notifications.

3. Notification of connection loss with your iPhone - When paired with your iPhone, the "Link Loss" feature will discretely notify you when the Bluetooth connection between your Citizen Eco Drive Proximity and your iPhone has been interrupted.

4. iPhone search - With the simple press of the buttons, you can activate a tone and vibration on your iPhone to quickly locate it, even if it is muted.

Not compatible with iOS 8.1.2 Bluetooth

Can't find iPhone 6 on latest IOS 8.1.2, but was able to pair the watch on IOS 8.0.2.

Nice watch, bad app

I got this watch not knowing it could sync up to my phone. The watch is great, it tells time just what I wanted. As for the app, it has to work first, enough said.

Citizen Eco-Drive Procimity

Got this watch because it would link with my IPhone. Too bad this app doesn't operate with the same quality. It fails to stay linked to the phone. And with the latest updates to this app it fails to link with the phone at all. I'm very frustrated with this app. I have it a year now and they have yet to stabilize this app. This app with this this watch are a waste of money

Really for a $500 watch

Gotta say the watch looks great but functions horribly. Already did the firmware update and waiting on the app update I guess. Have not received notification of alleged update. And no my phone does do automatically. Turned that off. Agree with other review. Watch just does not stay connected & reconnecting is a huge hassle. Have convinced friends that like the look not to buy. Bought a Pebble on eBay for under a hundred brand new. It works awesome and is a kick starter funded watch. That watch stays in the kitchen at night where I unload my wallet and keys & phone is charging in bedroom at night but still connected. Citizien may want to hire some of the pebble guys to get some stuff worked out. I have left the house without watch. Walk in the door look at watch & it has already reconnected. How does a high end watch company not have the resources to fix the app & watch issues. Overwhelmingly disappointed but whatever they already got the cash for the watch. Pretty sure they will either quit manufacturing or find some nerds that can fix problems based on posts I have read about the failure of the watch thus far. Hope they do fix because it is a good looking timepiece.

Same Issues - Updated January 2014.

ANOTHER FIRMWARE UPGRADE. Another shipping label. Let's see if it works this time. I'm ready to give up. Citizen watches can connect to satellites and atomic clocks, but cannot stay connected to an iPhone. Come on guys……this should be easy! FIRMWARE UPGRADE?!? WOW. Contact Citizen for a mailing label. I cannot believe Citizen have not fixed this issue. UPDATED APP........SAME PROBLEMS. Have to DELETE the watch on bluetooth profile to reconnect. What a joke. They just cant get it right. VERY DISAPPOINTING! ...............................................................Love the watch. Hate the app. Same issues as others. Cannot reconnect. Have to delete the watch in Bluetooth and pair all over again. Leave it connected all the time! What's the point of worrying about whether the watch is connected or not? Of it disconnects, let it automatically reconnect without having to push any buttons. Come on Citizen, you are better than this! Fix the app!
