Issues

I'm sorry to start the new year with a poor rating but the app is not great. You can't read the magazine on your iPhone... reads better on your iPad or kindle (I prefer reading on my iPhone). Also, I received an email that the February 2017 issue is ready for download but it's not in the store. What gives? This is a really good inspirational publication should be easier to access. Hope someone at guideposts will read this review. Thanks.

I'm ashamed for guidepost

Unless something went terribly wrong this is not right. I have never downloaded an app that was supposedly free with just in app advertising to discover nothing except an offer to actually buy the product once you downloaded the app😟. And to be a company like a reputable company like guidepost I thought was!!! Shame on you...

More than twice as costly than print version

I am due to renew my print version of Guideposts, so I thought I'd check out this app. My question is, I have a renewal form which says 1 yr costs $8.97, and two years costs only $13.97. So why is the app version more than double the cost of having the printed version mailed to me? The app version should be cheaper because there is no printing and mailing.

Awesome Must Buy!

Of course the app is free, and you have to buy the magazines, people! A year's subscription is only $16.99 and you save money since, individually they cost $2.99. My husband and I used to get a yearly subscription at Christmas from his mom. She now has dementia and of course doesn't keep up with gifts any more. I used to read and reread my monthly issues and still have a stockpile I can't part with. I was delighted to see Guideposts in the App Store. I now don't have to keep paper copies, and I can read them on my iPhone and iPad. The best part is the great content that has such heart warming stories that are so uplifting in these uncertain times! Do yourself and your family a favor and subscribe. Also gift a copy or subscription to friends or loved ones. Pass it on like my mother-in-law did!

Disappointed

A lot of paper magazines are letting you access them through their apps if you subscribe to them. So thought I'd check this out. But your subscription doesn't do that. Deleting app.
