Originally called the Illinois Education Association Mutual Insurance Company, our name was changed to honor the father of the American public education system, Horace Mann. Not so great

I went on the website to pay my bill and it suggested I download their app,which I did, but you can't pay your bill with the app! Kinda of useless.

No Option To View Statement

This app is pretty bare. Your vehicles are listed with coverages, but no option to view bill statement or pay. Get with it HM.

I Don't Even See My Premium Displayed

This app seems useless. I have an adjustment to my premium supposedly in process and my payment is due now. I'll call my agent.

Investments

How about an app to monitor/ trade HM investments such as annuities? I sometimes wonder if Horace Mann realizes that the year is 2014 and that people want access to information on their phones and tablets. I wonder if HM fears the transparency that an app would provide.
