Better than the website, but still has issues

The app is much better than the absolutely horrible Bay registry website, but it's still hard to search for products - when in "advanced search" it won't let me click on the options to choose a department, but it also won't let me search for a keyword without picking a department first... Which I can't do. This app works pretty well in-store but online shopping is still a nightmare.

Useless..

This application use to work ok with only a few strange functions. Now it is completely unusable as you cannot scroll through a registry without the app automatically launching what ever item you happened to touch. Obviously this was designed by someone who doesn't understand how a touchscreen works.

Frustrating

Can't seem to scan anything and the search doesn't work. It's a great idea, but needs a lot of work.

Needs so much work!

This app should be so much better than it is! The search function doesn't work, scrolling automatically selects things instead of scrolling, products aren't up to date ... After those frustrations I gave up and decided I'd go in to the store. I guess that's what HBC wants. But for Canada's biggest and most popular gift registry, this was super frustrating and disappointing. Boo.

Frustrating

This might be the worst app I've ever used. It mixes button and touch navigation so you end up selecting things you didn't mean to. The search is terrible. I want to add a butter dish to my registry: searching for butter comes up with nothing, trying to select a category tells me the category (which the app supplied) is invalid. The barcode scan feature is impossible: it reverses the camera so I had to move the iPad and catalog around in circles trying to get the bar code into frame, and then it never finds the item once you scan it. It doesn't show items in your registry is they have been discontinued, something that would be good to know. Instead the item just isn't there. The Bay's registry website is pretty bad, but it's preferable to this crap.

Would give it 0 stars if I could

App does not even work. Accessing my registry online is never a problem, but trying to access it on this app tells me that the registrant has enabled a password, which I have not. When I try to sign in to my registry, it says that I have entered the wrong password, when I have not.
Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.

The iOS SDK provides Facebook Platform support for iOS apps
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Google Data APIs (gdata)
The Google Data APIs (GData) provide a simple protocol for reading and writing data on the web. Each of the following Google services provides a Google data API: Blogger Calendar Calendar Resource Contacts Content API for Shopping Documents List Email Audit Email Settings Google Analytics Google Apps Provisioning Google Webmaster Tools Picasa Web Albums Spreadsheets YouTube
MapKit
The Map Kit framework provides an interface for embedding maps directly into your own windows and views. This framework also provides support for annotating the map, adding overlays, and performing reverse-geocoding lookups to determine placemark information for a given map coordinate.
Media Player Framework
The Media Player framework provides facilities for playing movie, music, audio podcast, and audio book files. This framework also gives your application access to the iPod library, letting you find and play audio-based media items synced from iTunes on the desktop. iPod library access is read-only.
MessageUI
The Message UI framework provides specialized view controllers for presenting standard composition interfaces for email and SMS (Short Messaging Service) text messages. Use these interfaces to add message delivery capabilities without requiring the user to leave your app.
UIKit
The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
WebCore
Display web content in windows. Implement browser features such as following user-activated links, managing a back-forward list, and managing a history of recently visited pages. WebKit provides a set of classes to display web content in windows, and implements browser features such as following links when clicked by the user, managing a back-forward list, and managing a history of pages recently visited. WebKit greatly simplifies the complicated process of loading webpages—that is, asynchronously requesting web content from an HTTP server where the response may arrive incrementally, in random order, or partially due to network errors. WebKit also simplifies the process of displaying that content which can contain various MIME types, and compound frame elements each with their own set of scroll bars. WebCore is a framework developed by Apple, and licence under the LGPL, to provide an HTML layout engine for Mac OS X. It is one half of WebKit (the other being JavaScriptCore). WebCore combines the open source KHTML layout engine developed by the KDE project, with an adapter library called KWQ (pronounced Quack). Apple created the KWQ adapter to replace KHTML's dependency on code from the Qt toolkit and other KDE modules. KWQ also presents an Objective-C application programming interface to the C++-based KHTML rendering engine, allowing it to easily be referenced by Cocoa-based applications.
ZBar
ZBar is an open source software suite for reading bar codes from various sources, such as video streams, image files and raw intensity sensors. It supports many popular symbologies (types of bar codes) including EAN-13/UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5 and QR Code. The flexible, layered implementation facilitates bar code scanning and decoding for any application: use it stand-alone with the included GUI and command line programs, easily integrate a bar code scanning widget into your Qt, GTK+ or PyGTK GUI application, leverage one of the script or programming interfaces (Python, Perl, C++) ...all the way down to a streamlined C library suitable for embedded use. ZBar is licensed under the GNU LGPL 2.1 to enable development of both open source and commercial projects.
