Worthless

If you have Apple products the fans connect ok with HomeKit. But if not and you want the ability to control with your phone, forget it. This app is so bad I can't believe Hunter would put their name on it!!

Crap! Utter Crap!

0) ZZZZZEEEEERRRRROOOOO Stars! 1) WHY!?!? ARE!?!? THERE!?!?! TWO!?!?! APPS!?!?!? There should be just one! 2) Why will my phone not recognize my fan and controller/receiver. I have completed all of the stupid troubleshooting. 3) Why does the FAQ tell me that the homekit code (number code/QR Code/Whatever) is on the remote or on the front of the user manual!?!? It is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! 4) Why do you have to make this so complicated!?!? It should be STUPID SIMPLE!

This app has yet to work start to finish

I've seen at least one other review say the fan is great. It's true. The trouble is the app is not anywhere close to ready. If this were a beta test, I'd still be frustrated. I have not once been able to open the app, perform a task from start to finish, without it crashing multiple times. Nothing complicated either. Oh, and now my guest bedroom will not turn off the security feature that performs random turning on and off of the lights. This means guests have to be attacked by random lighting issues. This app should have been fixed before it was ever released. I'm not sure how it passed quality control.

Smart fan works through Apple home app...not this one, though

Update 2- they finally updated their app to fix some bugs, but it still doesn't recognize the fan when you're logged into your account, only when logged out and choosing "Continue with fewer features" Update/tl;dr- Install the fan via apple's Home app, then this app seems to work *so long as* you don't login ("Continue with fewer features") I can't get the fan to properly connect to the app. Once I added it through apple's home app, it works with HomeKit & my phone to control the features, but in Hunter's own app, it only sees the home & rooms, and that there is a device installed in my room, but it doesn't recognize it as their own fan. This wouldn't really bother me that much (except in principle), if not for there being certain features that can only be accessed through their app (not in "Home), such as turning the confirmation beeps off. Overall, I think I'm happy with the fan & its connectedness, but not this app.

Good Fan, bad connectivity

The fan itself is very nice but the app and connectivity are terrible. HomeKit always shows first as disconnected and the Hunter App is one of the worst designed app ever.
