The PlayerPlanner App is a tool developed by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Performance Team for its elite players to help monitor player development and accurately plan training schedules.

Features include:
The calendar can be viewed in List, Day, Week and Month views.
Activities can be viewed, added, edited, and deleted while offline.
Outstanding activities on the home screen show you which activities still need match outcomes and RPE completing.
Reminder notifications can be set to remind you of an upcoming session, and to update activity details & RPE after the session is finished.
You can choose to sync data over Wi-Fi only so as not to use up any data allowance.
Your Tournament Schedule can be viewed.
Reports can be viewed in portrait and landscape.
The report for win/loss by surface can be viewed in pie and bar chart.
Match results report.
Volume and load report can be viewed as bar chart or data table.
Coaches will be able to access and update any of their player’s calendars they have connected with through the online tools on the website.
Coaches can set favourite players to automatically sync their data.

The primary calendar function allows players and coaches to enter all their tennis activity, including matches, tennis sessions, strength and conditioning, recovery, rehab, other sport and study and appointments. The information entered in to the planner is then used to populate reports on match results, win/loss by surface and volume and load by week. This information can then be used to identify strengths and weaknesses, monitor the training volume and intensity and overall be more accurate in tailoring the players’ training schedules.

This tool mirrors the functionality already available via the PlayerPlanner Schedule on the LTA website with one key difference; the app works offline (after you have successfully logged in for the first time) so as soon as you are finished on court you can update your activities. This allows you to enter activities and results without signal or a Wi-Fi connection. Data is synced between the web and the App meaning information only needs to be entered once but can be accessed and updated on either system.

As with the web version of the planner you must be a British Tennis Member and have played in at least 6 competitive matches in order to be able to use this application as a player, or be registered or licensed as a coach.
