Our philosophy is simple. Create reliable products for the way you and your family live. And provide great US-based customer service when you need it. After all, weÍre family owned and operated, so keeping your home safe and comfortable is our priority. Because of that weÍve become the 2nd largest retail thermostat brand, selling more than 10 million thermostats in the US alone. We are rooted here in the United States with a customer service center in Philadelphia and distribution center in Laredo, Texas, all while our global presence continues to grow. To continue providing world class quality and innovation, Lux Products is poised for the future due in part to a 2014 acquisition by Edwin McAuley Electronics (EME). With the acquistion, our corporate worldwide headquarters is now located in Hong Kong with manufacturing plants throughout Europe and Asia. ThatÍs why our commitment to social and environmental standards remains so strong. WeÍre dedicated to responsible practices and because we control our supply chain end-to-end, we can enforce our strict labor standards wherever we do business. That means operating honestly, ethically, and safely day in and day out. In fact, our factory upholds labor practices according to the international world-class standards of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition. We take environmental issues seriously as well by producing energy-efficient products made from eco-friendly and sustainable materials whenever possible. From our early days in New England over a century ago to our worldwide presence today, Lux has consistently stood for innovation, reliability and value.

Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Core Image
Core Image is an image processing and analysis technology that provides high-performance processing for still and video images. Use the many built-in image filters to process images and build complex effects by chaining filters.

Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.
Quartz Core Framework
Allow users to browse, edit, and save images, using slideshows and Core Image filters. The Quartz Composer API supports processing and rendering graphical data and allows developers to create custom patches for the Quartz Composer developer tool. ImageKit provides user interface support for browsing, editing, and saving images, showing slideshows, and browsing and previewing Core Image filters. PDFKit is a technology that allows applications to display and manipulate PDF documents.
UIKit
The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
WebKit
WebKit provides a set of classes to display web content in windows, and implements browser features such as following links when clicked by the user, managing a back-forward list, and managing a history of pages recently visited.
