MEFA _ the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority _ helps families plan, save, and pay for college through community education programs, college savings plans, and low-cost college financing options.
We are a not-for-profit self-financing state authority and were created in 1982 by the state legislature at the request of Massachusetts colleges and universities. Our experienced and dedicated team members work closely with families, community organizations, high schools, and colleges to help students achieve their higher education goals.
