Founded in 1983, the National Advertising Benevolent Society (NABS) is the only charitable organization in Canada that provides a dynamic support system for all professionals in the communication industry and related sectors. NABS services have been 100% funded through events and donations; and the support of individuals and organizations through volunteer, in-kind and financial contributions. Over the years, the society has re-invested more than $8.0 million in direct financial support to thousands of industry professionals and their families. ALL NABS SERVICES ARE CONFIDENTIAL AND FREE.

How We Help

Professionals in the communication industry and related sectors needing help due to illness, injury, unemployment or economic difficulties can qualify for short-term financial assistance. In addition, NABS offers professional workshops, private counselling and assistance programs at no cost.
