Constant Crashing

Worst app ever. If it wasn’t a way to get vital information I would just delete it. Reassured if there is important news being read , it’s going to go out. 👎👎👎

Forced Data Sharing...What The Dickens?

Data Protection Choices “This information is shared with social media services, sponsorship, analytics, and other third-party service providers.” This is not a choice, but a statement NPR provides with a “Agree” button, or a sorry get your news of the website. I will now quit my monthly auto donation to NPR until they give me an option to keep out of my business for their profits. Get with the times ding-dongs. Cambridge Analytic ring any bells upstairs?

Version 4.5.5 - Audio Just Stops

This version has a bug. The audio randomly stops and then you cannot continue live stream. I must either exit the app or delete and reinstall. This just started a few days ago.

update: now all the feeds except “most popular” update . “mist popular” had been broken since jan 15 original: the various feeds don’t always update. for example, popular is stuck with news from mid jan 21 despite deleting and re-downloading the app. world and national are stuck on tuesday’s stories when it’s now thu

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking.
