Philadelphia Film Society is a 501(c)(3) member supported nonprofit organization with a mission to utilize the power of film and provide resources for other creative arts to engage, educate, entertain, and promote cultural understanding within diverse communities. We achieve this mission by annually producing a top-tier film festival featuring the best of American and International cinema, and operating the PFS Roxy and Prince theaters, which jointly provide daily access to art house theater programming, curated film series and special engagement experiences that heighten the awareness of film as an important form of artistic expression and an instrument of cultural change.
