This app is an interactive gallery of the images that inspired the worldwide hit featured film, Oblivion.
Oblivion began as a short treatment from creator Joseph Kosinski. In 2008, that short story was further developed by Radical Publishing and Joseph Kosinski into an illustrated novel featuring prose and 30 accompanying illustrations depicting key moments from the story.
At San Diego Comic-Con 2010, Radical released a chapter of the story along with 10 images which quickly propelled the project into film development.
However, while the film became a big Hollywood movie starring Tom Cruise, we have always felt that the source material artwork was so beautifully illustrated that it made sense to find an interactive way to share the early designs with fans from around the world.
