Still waiting for you to add promo codes to user accounts on the app .
The app would be easier to use if the promo codes emailed to us were added to member accounts in the app too.
Copying codes from email to enter them in the app is an unnecessary step .

Could have, but didn’t
The app works generally well. However, since you can’t rent on-demand directly from the app, it is rather worthless.
I give it 1 star for function (including ability to look up kiosk inventory) and 1 star for free on-demand. But it loses the convenience factor and ease of use.

Ability to use mobile pass when picking up movies. Need more Blu-ray movies than DVD. Who uses dvd these days???

Availability
There are many times I try and rent something from Redbox and they don’t have it which is frustrating. They may not even be brand new movies.

The Worst MAP in APP History
When Are You Going To Fix The Map In The Phone App?!?! It’s been terrible for years and you admit it!
Trying to use the map to search locations within my immediate area is beyond frustrating. When you Zoom by using two fingers the map automatically snaps back to a wide view with several locations stacked on each other once you remove your fingers. If you Zoom by using one finger to double tap it automatically snaps back to a wide view once you use one finger to move the map area. The map is completely useless. They keep telling me they’re aware of the problem and working on it, but nothing ever happens. It has been months. It’s like they don’t know we have other apps with maps that have worked perfectly for ages.
The best part is when they screw up they give me a code for a free DVD rental. Problem is I have never, ever, rented a DVD from Redbox, so the gesture is meaningless. It would be great if I could apply that code towards a Blu Ray rental and pay the difference. But apparently that would make way too much sense and as we have already established that is not the purpose of the Redbox App.
Every few months I wonder why I don’t use RedBox much anymore. Then I use RedBox and remember.
