Sass & Belle
In 1996 Richard John Benedict Stone returned to the UK after working in Bombay, India armed with 1,000 juggling balls and an intention to sell them all. He ventured to Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he sold all 1,000 of his juggling balls, and it was here that the company RJB Stone, a small independent wholesale giftware company, began. Over the years RJB Stone became a key player in the UK home and gift industry. As the company grew and more of the products were designed in-house, there was a need for a feminine name that matched the fun, creative and design-led products that were being created. So, in 2009, the Sass & Belle brand was born. For Richard, it was clear that the brand should be named after his two daughters, Saskia and Alma Belle. On the Sass & Belle logo sit two little birds with hearts for wings, which represent RichardÕs two daughtersÕ fun, quirky and lovable nature. Sass & Belle is loved and nurtured by a fabulous team and is fast becoming a recognized and desirable brand in Europe and beyond. The products under the brand fulfill the tagline Ôfor the little things in lifeÕ and we set out to make our customers smile through our original and happy designs. Our promise is to provide lovable, trend-led and affordable home decor with a quirky twist. At Sass & Belle we endeavor to create innovative and exciting products you may have never even known you wanted.
