Sydney Youth Orchestras is widely acknowledged as NSW's premier orchestral training organisation, comprising 13 ensembles of 450 young musicians aged 6 to 25. As a strong community organisation, SYO nurtures and develops AustraliaÍs musicians of the future, and makes a real difference to the lives of our young musicians and the people we reach within the community. Our strength lies in the delivery of a high quality and comprehensive orchestral training program with the aim of presenting a range of accessible, interactive and engaging performances throughout the year. We perform regularly for the public in SydneyÍs best venues as well as in major community events such as Carols in the Domain, ToddlersÍ Proms and outreach programs including concerts and workshops in regional NSW. We will be conducting our first international cultural exchange program in South America in June 2016. We also regularly perform at corporate events.
