The app, as stated by the previous reviewer does not allow you to log in if you previously set up your account using anything other than your email as your user name. Trying to set up another account is aggravating. I just ended up going to the full bowl.com site and doing my business. Great idea, poorly implemented.

Good on content and functionality. The “My Stats” brings us the user’s average and membership history...that’s a really nice touch. However, if on bowl.com one had previously set up a userID (and password) that was not an email address, while that would continue to work on the website, it would not be accepted by the app (which requires an email address and will only accept such) so one has to set up an account anew in order to use this app. A regular user of other iOS apps will have some difficulty navigating between fields and entering information into fields, viz: • Fields for entering Email addresses are not email-friendly, requiring one to go to the character set to grab “@” and “.” to complete an email address. • There is no keyboard button for advancing to the next field, either. Example: after entering the first portion of a USBC ID, one usually can touch a “>” button atop the keyboard, or press “return”, to advance to the next field. Instead, “return” removes the keyboard altogether and one must touch within the next field to continue. • Further, since the USBC ID is numbers only, it could be even more helpful if, when the user is on those fields, that a numbers-only keypad is present instead of the standard qwerty which requires one to press “123” to access the numerals...and one must do that again for the second field. The same lack of a field advancement button applies when entering other information. • Within the app, some help items (such as Glossary, About USBC, etc.) take one outside the app into Safari and must return, and those windows are left open in Safari. There’s no reason why those things can’t be kept within the app. • Finally, the rule book absolutely must have a search field. It takes some time to scroll all the way down to the index, and then scroll back to the appropriate page.

I love the app for iPhone. I use it frequently being a league secretary. Since the update it no longer works. It just says to check my log in info. Then when I try doing it with my member info it says I'm not valid. I can log onto the web version just fine. PLEASE FIX THE APP. (It's much more convenient)

I love it but not easy to find the application. I want to share with my bowlers but don’t know what to tell them.

App would be useful with the following additions: Search box needed for Rule Book to find desired info without scanning the whole book. Need to be able to rotate screen to landscape so text can be read after magnifying without having to scan back & forth across the line.

I have been waiting on an app from USBC for what feels like forever! I really am impressed with this app. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the ability to bookmark pages on the rule book. Just an idea but for the Championships/Convention maybe add some support once they kick off.
