The Student Profile requires a secure University login to access certain functionality. The profile includes:

- Exam Timetables
- Real time Campus PC availability – Find the nearest free PC
- Search for staff and student contact details
- Locate your friends who use the app (requires friend to accept)
- IT Services: Printing balance, Service Status, reset passwords, and access the University App store
- View your library record, search the library catalogue, journals and databases
- Interactive maps of the University and the city
- News, Events and Alerts
- Pay tuition fees and top up your printing and library account
- Access teaching and learning systems
- Travel information including real time bus information
- UBU (Students Union): Listen live to student radio and view cinema listings
- Search and book on Workshops

New Tile Interface is Great!

I've been a bit dubious about the new iOS7 interface but I think how it's been implemented in this app is really good. There is a serious amount of content too.

Good but could do better

This app is quite good! But it could be improved if it included 'WEBMAIL' and 'BLACKBOARD' If these two features were integrated in the app, it would have earned five stars! Sorry about the negative marking! Lol

AVFoundation

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Core Telephony Framework
Use the Core Telephony framework to obtain information about a user’s home cellular service provider—that is, the provider with whom the user has an account. Carriers can use this information to write applications that provide services only for their own subscribers. You can also use this framework to obtain information about current cellular calls.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
MessageUI
The Message UI framework provides specialized view controllers for presenting standard composition interfaces for email and SMS (Short Messaging Service) text messages. Use these interfaces to add message delivery capabilities without requiring the user to leave your app.
MobileCoreServices
Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.
Quartz Core Framework
Allow users to browse, edit, and save images, using slideshows and Core Image filters.The Quartz Composer API supports processing and rendering graphical data and allows developers to create custom patches for the Quartz Composer developer tool.
