uno home loans is one of AustraliaÍs most exciting early-stage businesses, bringing transparency and efficiency to a market badly in need of some customer facing innovation. Our entry into the Australian property finance market last year was described by Domain and The Sydney Morning Herald as the beginning of the ñthird waveî of property finance - signalling the end to the days where the only options for finding a home loan have been positively 20th Century options like banks and traditional mortgage brokers.
Since then, weÍve attracted over $21.5 million in funding (our majority shareholder is Westpac), work with 19 lenders (including all of the Big Four banks) helped 40,000 customers, and are advising on over $110 million of home loan opportunities each month.
uno is on a mission to change the way Australians finance property by raising the bar far beyond what has become acceptable in the category. We believe that people, when given access to tools, technology, great service and advice, will make better decisions. We believe in radical transparency, and providing advice and support with no hidden agenda.
Just as important as all of this industry-changing work is that we believe in having fun and being good to each other while weÍre doing it. We thrive on a culture which constantly challenges us. The entire loan application process can be done from a desktop and mobile phone, and is supported by a team of experts that can help with real-time advice, from 8am - 10pm on weekdays and to 8pm on weekends.
