Description:

Introducing the new and improved ParkRight parking application.

Tired of looking for available parking in the heart of London? ParkRight is the official parking app to help you search for a space and pay to park in Westminster.

The ParkRight app has a new user-friendly app flow, with an improved payment interface that integrates seamlessly with the ability to search for parking.

Real-time parking availability is shown at 3,500 paid-for and disabled bays across London’s West End. Using a simple red, amber and green system, the ParkRight app provides users with real-time information on where they are most likely to find an available space. ParkRight can even interact with most sat-nav apps, directing motorists to their chosen location. Once at the bay, users can pay to park through the app.

ParkRight also shows motorists locations of resident parking, coach parking and motorcycle bays - to the 41,000 on street parking spaces covering the whole borough, including well known locations such as Leicester Square, Covent Garden, the West End and Oxford Street. Also available are off-street car park locations.

WHAT CAN IT DO?
By simply tapping a map marker you will be able to see the number of spaces at each location, the operating hours of a bay, hourly tariffs, simple payment instructions and specific features for off-street car parking. Once registered to pay, click on the £ symbol via an icon or 'Pay to Park' button on the home-screen to pay for your parking.

Find parking spaces by entering an address, postcode or using your current location. See alternative parking places near your preferred destination and get directions to your selected parking location.

- Search across 41,000 parking spaces across the City of Westminster
- Filter to identify the types of bays you are interested in
- Find parking based on your current location within the City of Westminster
- Get directions and use turn-by-turn guidance to get you to your destination
- See off-street parking locations

To use ParkRight you will need a data connection, WiFi or 3/4G to operate.

Atrocious buggy rubbish.

Terrible UI/UX. Very buggy. Spuriously fails to take payment half the time. The design (if it can be called that) of the payment process is almost *deliberately* bad. One could teach an entire course on bad UX design based on this app.

Awful awful

In the days of contactless, Apple Pay and QR codes why on earth are usernames, multiple passwords and pins needed? Who remembers what they used last time a year ago? Dreadful UX - would give this a zero if I could

Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them. The macOS Finder itself uses Launch Services to perform such tasks. Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.
MobileCoreServices
Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.

You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
UIKit
