Allegheny Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) non-profit land conservation organization helping local people save local land in the Pittsburgh region. Incorporated in 1993, the land trust protects land by acquiring and stewarding land of significant value to the region's unique scenic character, biodiversity, and water quality. Allegheny Land Trust 's mission is to serve as the lead land trust conserving and stewarding lands that support the scenic, recreational, and environmental well-being of communities in Allegheny County and its environs.
