The BCIT Marketing Association (BCITMA) is a non-for-profit student-led association and is a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). As the longest standing student association at BCIT, the BCITMA owes its success to its history.
The club not only represents BCIT but also Canada, as it is the only Canadian chapter competing at the annual International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans. Amongst chapters all across the US, the BCITMA has won various awards and competitions, showcasing the diversity and talents of its members. Most recently, BCITMA was awarded a ÔGoldÕ standing as one of the top 4 chapters in North America at the 2017 International Collegiate Conference.
BCITMA provides its members with the opportunity to learn marketing through experience in a professional setting. These opportunities include networking events, philanthropy, community involvement, speakers and workshops, and real marketing opportunities with real businesses.
This year, BCITMA hopes to continue its memberÕs success in the 2017/2018 year by following the BCITMA message to CONNECT. CREATE. CAPTIVATE.
