Love coffee? Then you’re in the right place. The Costa Coffee app makes being a coffee fan so much easier and more rewarding. It’s the simplest way to collect Coffee Club points, order your favourite drink for collection in store (from June 2019), find your nearest Costa, view your points balance and exchange points for free treats. Yum!

All of your Coffee Club details are in the palm of your hand, so there’s no need to carry your loyalty card. Just scan your phone at the till whenever you make a purchase, or scan the code from Costa Express machines whilst your drink is being made.

With our app, you can:

• Log in with your current Coffee Club account details, register an existing card or set up a new account (and get a new member bonus of 100 points worth £1!)
• Use mobile ordering to order ahead and skip the queue in store (from June 2019)
• Track your points balance to see when you have enough for a free coffee or treat
• Find details of your nearest Costa stores including directions, opening times and facilities
• Ditch the card and keep Coffee Club in your pocket at all times
• Add your Coffee Club card to your Apple Wallet

Choices

Couple of suggestions … 1. have used multiple times and never managed to get chocolate on cappuccino (21st century stress!) Description for cap is “dusted with choc” so that should be standard drink. Have informed staff on numerous occasions but nothing done. Either give option to remove choc (for those who don’t want) OR change description and allow choc to be chosen as addition. 2. Croissants - give facility to request heating them. Thank you!

Can’t login and can’t request a password reset without it resulting in an error. Worse than worthless as an app.

Good Idea - Bad Implementation

Idea is great, but: 1. It is 50/50 (especially recently) they won’t have the food that you ordered and it is not possible to cancel the order so you can just pop in to another place - they will make a part instead and offer you substitutes. You then left with options to either eat something you don’t like or don’t eat anything at all. This is frustrating as I am having the food with my wife so one of us doesn’t have food or has to eat something else :( Doesn’t work for me so I am stoppng using the app. 2. It is 50/50 you will get chocolate sprinkles on your cappuchino - again there is no option to tick. Very annoying. I would suggest to implement chocolate sprinkles option as well as either cancel the order if you don’t have it all or give a call to ask. Or just have few food spare for situations like that ij the shop or even remove from app when low stock not just when gone as this is always too late apparently. Will retry the app next year :)

Keeps saying no stores near my location to order

For some reason I cannot even make an order on the app. It keeps coming up saying there are no stores in my location. My partner never has this issue. It’s no good when you can’t even get past the order part. Can’t even browse the menu because it’s saying no stores nearby! Please fix this issue. Location services are turned on my device too

The most popular menu, iced americano is not in the menu. So every time I order in the shop instead of ordering click and collect.... is it only me?

COVID Track and Trace link!

The COVID Track and Trace link is buried in the details section of the app and is very difficult to find. It should be displayed in a separate icon and clearly visible for all customers. I attended a branch of Costa today and the queue was long and ridiculously slow as staff were having to help customers find the very inconspicuous link. This vital health issue needs to be attended to by Costa Coffee as a matter of urgency.
