Great bit of kit

Can't fault it, I've had it over a year now and never had a problem. At the end of the day all it does is tell your boiler controls to activate or deactivate(turn ON/turnOFF). I see on the reviews that there are a lot of unsatisfied uses of the device but I would guarantee than the majority of the times it is the system controls that are at fault and not actually the Hive device. Recently I was sent a signal booster (free of charge) as they (British Gas) had detected that my devices had lost connection (I wasn't even aware)...All I can say is,great product & great service. Thanks

It's ok but British gas need to get their finger out

And develop the app and offer. There are literally 100s of ideas on their user forum that do not go anywhere Come on!!!

Pretty good

App is pretty good. I only have heating but it seems to work well. But as an Apple Watch owner I feel they could do with a watch app that can be used for quick changes

Good......Nearly Great

Very decent app. It's great that you can control your heating on the move. Would give it 5 stars if you could switch the "Boost on" longer than 1 hour from your phone, just like you can on the thermostat. Hopefully this will be implemented in a update soon. Make it happen please 🙏🏻👍🏻

Just simply avoid

Before Hive installed - walk a few yards to thermostat; adjust thermostat. Takes a few seconds and works every time. After Hive - fire up laptop & start Hive program. Find you can't log in. Update App. Doesn't work. Switch off Hive and restart. Wait a while. Stil doesn't work. Phone Hive. Wait while they reprogram your unit. Still doesn't work. Phone Hive again to be told that the first guy didn't know what he was doing. Wait while they send some network repeaters in the post, which make no difference. Eventually get Hive back in action. Try again tomorrow. Fire up iPad etc and find they've 'improved' the app i.e. made it worse and it now takes ages to reprogram. Resolve to go back to old, manual, thermostat. There are many more, similar, annoyances. These are not isolated occurrences but quite common. Even if Hive worked faultlessly every time, it would still be far easier to just use a manual system. Jusy say No to Hive.

Terrible

Literally just had Hive installed, not more than a few hours later and the app is completely useless - upon opening it says it needs to pair with the system (something I'd already done) but this time it gives no option to type in the hub code and there seems to be no other way to effect a pair. After spending so much to knacker my heating leaves me cold and furious...

Core Location Framework
